Big Oil (But Not Koch) Prepared to Pay Carbon Tax

The New York Times reported on its front page today that “Large Companies Prepared to Pay Price On Carbon” which is a step in the right direction, so that those making enormous profits from the carbon emissions that are responsible for global warming include these currently externalized costs into their pricing.   This will help fix the market failure that are represented by the health and climate impacts from greenhouse gas emissions.   Notably, the Koch Brothers conglomerate of fossil fuel industries is still fighting the existence of human caused global warming and any possible tax or fee on carbon emissions.
