Army Corps of Engineers Urged to Broaden EIS on Coal Ports

Seattle Times Editorial Columnist Lance Dickie gives the sound reasoning why the Army Corps of Engineers should not restrict the environmental impact analysis of proposed coal ports to only the local port area, but rather consider the cumulative, areawide, and climate impacts that would come from construction of export facilities.  Here’s the full article, entitled “Army Corps of Engineers must broaden review of coal-train impacts.
