Press Conf of WA State Reps Calls for Comprehensive Assessment of Coal Exports

On Wednesday, Nov 7th, in the afternoon,  State Rep Reuven Carlyle along with representatives from Mount Vernon, Bellingham, and West Seattle all spoke about the need for the Governor to a statewide comprehensive assessment of the impacts of export of coal on health and safety, business and economy and the environment.   The environmental group Climate Solutions also released the results of their study about the impacts on real estate values of having 18 trains a day pass along through the state and along the Columbia River and Puget Sound corridors.
