Contact Robin Everett of the Sierra Club to help set up from 2:00 pm on and attend the Press Conference Scheduled at 3:00 pm. We will be supporting the sign in tables and the hospitality suite where attendees can get help drafting comments and connecting with others. While anything you can do the help will be great, just coming, wearing red, signing in and listening to the hearing for whatever time you have will help show the level of citizen concern about this proposed coal terminal! After the hearing there will be a social event at the Maple Leaf pub for all interested!Following are details on the hearing and volunteering.

In addition to the noise, traffic congestion and hazardous coal dust, we’d get a new identity as one of the world’s largest exporters of climate-disrupting coal.
This is not us. We’re pioneering the clean energy revolution – building a stronger regional economy and developing clean energy solutions that work for the long haul; we won’t pull a U-turn and become the middleman for pushing fossil fuel dependence to the world.
Please spread the word on Facebook.
Thank you for your part in this movement!
